It’s beyond time I revisit my Film Friday series. I’ve been running around Atlanta for the better part of a year practicing my film techniques, but I’ve also been too judgmental of my own work to share it all publicly…until now. I’m ready to start taking steps to establish myself as an Atlanta film photographer which means I have to push myself AND put myself out there. Sometimes I nail it. Other times I don’t. I’ve come to realize it’s all part of the process.
Since I’m horrible at blogging as it is, I’m going to make all of these posts short and sweet. Let’s allow the photos to speak for themselves, shall we? This was a spur of the moment get together in my backyard with Noi, my photography bestie. She let me play around with her medium format camera (my first time shooting MF!) and I used some of my own film I had laying around collecting dust. The wind was soooo chilly that day but it provided for some dramatic hair sweeps – just how I like it!
I’ve recently gotten better at taking detailed notes of the film stock and cameras I use at each shoot, but you’ll have to bear with me on the first few posts that might have missing or incorrect information. Enjoy and feel free to leave any CC!
