It’s a bird…it’s a plane…no, it’s just a rare blog post by yours truly!
Yeah yeah, it’s been awhile. Las Vegas left me with a backlog of sessions I can’t wait to share you. So I’m going to dig right in and start with the last session I shot on my trusty old Rebel XSi (before upgrading to the mighty 5DMKii).
Waaaay back in December, my little sister and her new family met me in Hahira for a family portrait session to gear up for holiday cards. The first photo pretty much sums up how much fun we had that day!
We may or may not have bribed Grace into cooperating for the camera with a ride on the kiddie train…
Grace obviously had a couple visits from the tooth fairy recently.
For the Clements Christmas cards, I designed the front with an image of Grace sporting a smirk and the text “All I want for Christmas…”
And on the inside it had the image below! I’m sure you can guess what it said. 😉
Of course, I had to sneak in a few shots of Alison and Dewayne alone. It’s obvious how much “newlywed” is still in them!
Grace wanted to play a game of hide and seek when we got to Hambrick’s Christmas Tree Farm.
Grace reminds me a lot of myself. She’s the ultimate girly-tomboy. Alison brought Grace by my house not too long ago for a quick visit. But I turned my back for two seconds and she had vanished. Where was she? Outside throwing a football she found in my office! This girl loves ALL sports. Including cheerleading*:
This photo is a bit out of focus, but I still love it. Grace had me giggling uncontrollably because she was giggling at her daddy who was standing behind me doing God-knows-what.
Ali, you have a beautiful family that I’m proud to call my own now. Love you bunches and I’ll see you at your housewarming tomorrow!
*Yes, I believe cheerleading is a sport. Don’t test me. 😛
